BACKGROUND OF THE ORGANIZATION
JPIC-IDC, Inc. is a faith-based non-government organization (NGO) registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) with registration number: C200100503 dated June 18, 2001.

JPIC-IDC is also certified by the Philippine Council for NGO certification (PCNC) and recognized as a Donee institution by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) with certification. The institution started with the efforts of SVD priests. Its direction-setting body, the Board of Trustees (BOT), is composed of nine (9) members representing varied sectors.

Enhance data gathering and profiling of street children in partnered barangays with academe (USPF, Social Work department), collaboration with DepEds A:S department strengthened, referral of street families for shelter to JPICs housing project, referral of street children for temporary and permanent shelter to other agencies, and review CPP to include street children service Education (pre-school | ECCDm sponsorship for kto12, college of scholarship, technical | vocational education support for street children)
