OBJECTIVES & MISSION
VISSION
An empowering place for street children to enjoy survival, development, protection, and participation towards a transforming community with HOPE, FAITH, and LOVE.

MISSION
Working with the street children in providing opportunities to be integrated into family, school, and labor.
GOAL
Preventing children from choosing the street to be their home or place of livelihood.

OBJECTIVES
To provide training in skills that are needed to be self-reliant.
​
To re-establish contacts with their families and if not feasible to make referrals with other organizations for residence.
​
To provide alternative schools that will update information and knowledge.

PROGRAMS AND SERVICES
Gugma sa Kabataan gives help to groups of children of three different kinds. The first group is the thirty-one children connected to the day centre of Gugma sa Kabataan. The second group is the sixty poorest children of elementary and high school, GsK supports them with food and school supplies. The last group composed of fourteen children in prison, every two weeks GsK provides soap, toothpaste, and English classes. When necessary, GsK also provides clothing and slippers. Gugma sa Kabataan is active in five different areas:
